What a great experience we had on August 18th to pick up none other than Elder Chu from the airport! Wow... Many amazing things have happened for the Chu family of Taiwan. We are truly blessed to know them.
Then it was home for one night... Thomas and Chu acted as if they had never been apart and it has been three years since Chu lived in our home. Thomas showed Chu the chickens, his fort and treehouse... just about every toy he had and book that he has written....
It was very special to watch them "play" together and see what a fabulous example Thomas has in Chu of being a great person and also serving a mission.... big "wow" moments the whole morning.
After a big breakfast.... it was off to the MTC.... for the beginning of Chu's mission to Toronto Canada!!! Don't those guys look handsome!
It was also fun to see The Buttar's again.... Without them we would have never known Chu and his family.
A beautiful day for sure!!!! : )

Wow! Somehow I missed that Chu was going to serve a mission. It is so neat to see him dressed in a suit outside of the MTC - and even cuter to see Thomas in a suit next to him. I'm so glad we got a chance to get know Chu when we did the trip to Park City a couple years ago. Watch out Toronto!
